Inspirational Friday: 8/12!

Yesterday, it was the feast day of St. Clare of Assisi, this powerful saint, was one of the first followers of St. Francis of Assisi. Clare had the greatest desire to become a nun, although her family had other plans for her, so Clare inspired by her deep love for God ran away from her family and became a nun. When her family finally found her they were determined to take her back, until they realized she had cut her hair. Clare founded the Order of the Poor Clare nuns, and she lived the rest of her life in service to the poor.

Also, I submitted my photo " The Christmas Flicker" to the Create-a Greeting Card scholarship. If you could please vote it would be greatly appreciated, you can vote every day, my number is #509. If I win I will be able to afford going to the Catholic college of my dreams. Thank you and May God Bless you! To Vote: Link

Powerful Prayer to St. Clare of Assisi

O glorious Saint Clare!
God has given you the power of working miracles continually, and the favor of answering the prayers of those who invoke your assistance in misfortune, anxiety, and distress; we beseech you, obtain for us from Jesus, through Mary, His Blessed Mother, what we beg of you so fervently and hopefully, if it be for the greater honor and glory of God and for the good of our souls.
Saint Clare Pray For Us
Amen.

Ta, Ta for Now!
