Photo Shoot: Happy Birthday Captain!

Tomorrow, April 28th is the Birthday of our Family Dog, Captain! We adopted Captain two years ago in May from the Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue at a Pet Expo in Brooklyn, NY. We fell immediately in love with him and his story from the moment we saw him. Captain was only a puppy when, according to his foster parents, fell off a porch because he was scared by a larger dog, losing one of his front paws. Captain taught himself how to walk and live with only three legs. He never let his loss affect him, and he loves being sympathized with it with petting and treats from anyone, even strangers. Captain always knows what he wants at all times, and he acts like the prince of the family. Captain also has his own Instagram in which he shares the adventures of his life with his followers @Capt.the_3_Legged_Dog His "mother" Sarah wanted to make his 8th birthday special with a treat cake (that he will enjoy over the course of many weeks)  and balloons.
