Prayer to Saint Therese!

Today is St. Therese's Feast Day, Saint Therese is one of the three female Doctors of the Church because of her autobiography, "A Story of a Soul." Saint Therese's Mission was to Make God "loved," I believe that should be all of our mission because all God wants is to be loved by us. 

Saint Therese had a little soul and she knew she needed a little way (pun intended) to get to Heaven, so that is why she created the "little way." The "little way" is an easy way to become a saint by performing acts of love and sacrifice for the glory of God. 

Pope Francis said quoting her autobiography: "St. Therese “shows her 'little way' to God, the trust of a little child who falls asleep without fear in his Father’s arms, because 'Jesus does not demand great actions from us, but simply surrender and gratitude.'”

Saint Therese sums up the little way perfectly: "Do everything for the love of Jesus!"

Prayer to Saint Therese 

O Little Therese of the Child Jesus

Please pick for me a rose

from the heavenly garden

and send it to me

as a message of love.

O Little Flower of Jesus,

ask God to grant the favors

I now place with confidence

in you hands

St. Therese, help me to always believe

as you did, in God's great love for me,

so that I may imitate your "Little Way" each day.
