A Christmas Day Prayer!

It's Christmas Eve, Jesus is almost born, tomorrow is Christmas and it is a day of prayer and celebration! A day to spend with family and friends. Let us not let the shine of the presents distract from the the greatest gift and true reason for Christmas: Jesus Christ's Birth! 

Happy Birthday to the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ! Have a very Blessed Christmas! 

                    And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us! - John 1:14 

“He was created of a mother whom He created. He was carried by hands that He formed. He cried in the manger in wordless infancy. He, the Word, without whom all human eloquence is mute.” ~ St. Augustine

Saint Pope John XXIII said  “Mankind is a great, an immense family… This is proved by what we feel in our hearts at Christmas.” 

When you pray this Christmas Prayer, please pray for Peace in the Womb, Let this be the Christmas that Ends Abortion!

A Christmas Day Prayer

Dear God,

The day of joy returns, Father in Heaven, and crowns another 

year with peace and goodwill. Help us rightly to

 remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels

, the gladness of the shepherds, 

and the worship of the wise men. Close the doors of hate

 and open the doors of love all over the world… Let kindness come with

 every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil,

 by the blessing that Christ brings, and teach us to be merry 

with clean hearts. May the Christmas morning make us

 happy to be thy children, And the Christmas evening bring

 us to our bed with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake.

Amen.
