A Christmas Day Prayer!
It's Christmas Eve, Jesus is almost born, I am looking forward to singing at the Christmas Eve mass, my favorite part is when Our Pastor, Father Ken places the baby Jesus in the manger in the Nativity Scene!
“He was created of a mother whom He created. He was carried by hands that He formed. He cried in the manger in wordless infancy. He, the Word, without whom all human eloquence is mute.” ~ St. Augustine
Christmas is the time for Family and Friends, and time to be thankful for the greatest gift in the world Jesus' birth!
Saint Pope John XXIII said “Mankind is a great, an immense family… This is proved by what we feel in our hearts at Christmas.”
Today is a day when everyone is a little happier, nicer to one another, walking down the street you get a smile or say Have a Merry Christmas!! I believe that the world would be a happier place if every day was treated like Christmas.
Ta, ta for now!

A Christmas Day Prayer
Dear God,
The day of joy returns, Father in Heaven, and crowns another
year with peace and good will. Help us rightly to
remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels
, the gladness of the shepherds,
and the worship of the wise men. Close the doors of hate
and open the doors of love all over the world… Let kindness come with
every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil,
by the blessing that Christ brings, and teach us to be merry
with clean hearts. May the Christmas morning make us
happy to be thy children, And the Christmas evening bring
us to our bed with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake.
Amen.
A Merry Christmas to us all, and God bless us everyone!
Ta, ta for now!
